How to become a Pilot or Safety:

We are always looking for new volunteers, so these are the steps needed to be eligible:

Step 1: Read, fill out, sign, and submit our online Liability/Covid waiver by clicking here: Sequim Wheelers Waiver.

Step 2: Read, fill out, sign, and submit our online Volunteer Agreement, here: Sequim Wheelers Volunteer Agreement.

Step 3: Print and fill out the Background Check Authorization form by clicking here, and send it with a photocopy of your driver’s license to: Sequim Wheelers, PO Box 276, Carlsborg, WA 98324
Alternatively, you can scan or photograph the form and your license, and email them to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

Once those three items are completed, we will work with you to schedule three 2-hour training sessions (we have 4 DIFFERENT bikes to learn). You will have to demonstrate competence in handling the bikes (they do not behave like your own bicycle!) and a willingness to put the passenger’s comfort ahead of your own cycling interests.

Any questions, email Board member Bob Fitton at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
